Antares Way to be Closed for Asphalt Sealing

Please Plan Ahead

The Antares Board of Directors would like to notify homeowners that Antares Way will be closed to traffic and parking for 24 hours during our upcoming Asphalt Sealing Project, which is set to begin Wednesday, Sept. 27th.

Homeowners should also be aware that in order to access all pavement for sealing, any vehicles left in closed areas will be towed at their owner's expense without additional warning starting at 7:30 AM sharp on that morning.  So please plan ahead!

Board Issues Notice on Guest Parking Rules

For Guests Only

In addition to the parking rules documented in our Rules & Regulations, the Antares Board of Directors would like to issue a few complementary comments & reminders regarding the guest parking spaces in the Antares community.

Guest parking spaces are for guest parking only. Residents cannot park in the guest parking spaces.

A Shared Resource

All guest parking spaces are a shared resource in our community. Guest parking spots adjacent to residential units are not for the exclusive use of that resident or that resident's guests.

A Shared Resource (cont).

Likewise, guest parking spaces in a particular courtyard are not for the exclusive use of the residents and their guests in that courtyard.

Residents with appropriate parking permits can park on Antares Way.

Please Be Polite

Since there are a limited number of parking spaces in the community, please comply with the rules and be considerate and courteous to your neighbors. Thank you!

Palm Tree Trimming to Begin January 9th

During Business Hours

Beginning the week of January 9th, the palm trees in the community are scheduled for their annual trimming.  Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm each day.

Watch Where You Park

Please ensure that you do not park in front of or near the palm trees, as falling debris may cause damage to your vehicles.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Curtis Management.

Reminder: SDPD Warning about Theft

A Recent Increase

As first noted in our June Newsletter, SDPD have reported that there has been a recent increase in the number of burglaries in the Carmel Valley area.

In a number of cases the burglars have gained access to homes by first stealing garage door openers out of parked vehicles.

Take Precautions

If you are parking your vehicle on the street or in a parking space overnight, do not leave your garage door opener (or any other valuable/personal items) in the vehicle.

Don’t make it easy for the bad guys. And please, report any suspicious persons or activity to the police right away.  Thank you!

UPDATE:  Please note that the new security company (CWPS) will be patrolling the Antares Community as of Sept. 1st, and that in addition to performing other regular security tasks, the patrol will be checking that parking regulations are being observed.

New Website Now Available

The New Face of Antares

To keep residents informed and to build a greater sense of community, the Antares Homeowners Association board has commissioned a new website!  Also available with the new site is an email notification service, whereby residents can subscribe to receive emergency and informational notices right in their email inbox.

Website Released in Two Phases

The new Antares website will be released in two phases.  In the first phase the mainline content will be created and published, and in the second phase the website will feature searchable CC&Rs, Bylaws, and Rules & Regulations documents.  Many thanks to board member Vlad Kezic for spearheading this project!
